DEPARTMENT OF DRAVYAGUNA
Dravyaguna is one of the important department regarding its major role in therapeutic practices. This department deals with medicinal plants along with their identification, properties and healing action.
Teaching faculties in our department are expertise in theory and practical classes. The beautiful herbal garden having number of medicinal plants including Guduchi, Ashwagandha, Vasa, Arjuna, Shatawari, Brahmi etc. and fascinated with “Navgrah vatika” which is centre of attraction. For practical classes, labs are fully equipped with all required instruments like – Microscopes, Dissection box, Staining dyes, reagents: dry specimens and wet specimens, Models, Charts etc. Our ambition is to maintain well standard by helping students of Ayurveda in understanding basic concepts of ayurvedic pharmacology and modern pharmacology.
