“DEPARTNEMT OF KAYACHIKITSA” (GENERAL MEDICINE)
Kayachikitsa is the most important and first branch of Ayurveda (Astanga) which deals with general medicine, where “Kaya” means “Body” and “Chikitsa” means “Treatment”. Kayachikitsa mainly focus on “Agni” which is responsible for all bio transformations in the body. Maintaining the proper state of “Agni” is important for the management of most of the diseases. Apart from this there is a unique concept in Ayurveda (Rasayana & Vajikaran) for rejuvenate & to inhibit the process of ageing & recurrence of disease. In our institution this department is fully developed fulfilling all required facilities as per norms like, Tutorial room, Departmental library, Charts etc. We aim at producing graduates having profound knowledge in Kayachikitsa supplemented with knowledge of scientific advances in modern medicine along with extensive practical training, so as to become an efficient physician to serve the health care services.
